Sometimes, having an MC is not such a good thing after all. In fact, I feel that it just wastes my day away. Today, I went to the doctor in the morning, until it was almost afternoon. After that, I decided I was going to start on my homework. I started off with completing my math homework, and then I proceeded to do my chinese homework. After a whiloe, I realised that the chinese homework was SO DIFFICULT! We were actually supposed to write an essay on some ridiculous topic. Too bad I'm not the teacher, so I'll have to do it anyway. We were supposed to plan out what we were going to write, and then email what we've got to the teacher. BUT, I ended up going on Facebook instead, as I had nothing coming to my head. 1 hour wasted. Okay, nevermind, I shall do another one. My english. We were to come up with an advertisement about some facial wash. Well, some ideas DID come in after watching a few advertisements done by the professionals. But, I felt that they were too unoriginal. Thus, I sat at the computer, and started to think about what could be done. NO IDEAS. Then, FACEBOOK. 2 Hours wasted.
A day that was meant for me to rest but at the same time catch up with my work, turned out to be a day of... FACEBOOK. What is this? I'd rather go to school. At least the time there is well spent, and the time that I use at home can be used to rest and relax. SO FRUSTRATED. WHAT A WASTED DAY. :(

Change in the test/exam format
As the format of the test and exams are different this year, I feel very wierd, and I am definitely not ysed to this system yet. Usually, I would be studying everyday, as there are tests on a weekly basis. However, this year, the school decided that the would only have tests at the end of each term.
Some feel that this system is better, as there ae days whereby we can relax, instead of being so stressed up everyday. Well, they do have a point there, but I think I still prefer the tests every week, because that will make me study constantly. Now that the tests are only at the end of each term, I would sometimes find myself not knowing what to do. I am that sort of person who does not study, until I really have to, and that's bad. Really bad. Because, once the exams come, I've got a feeling that I would have to cram everything that I've learnt in the term all into my head in... A week or two?
Oh no, I'm really in trouble this time. I know I've got to do something about this, as if I wait till the exams come, I'm gonna suffer, REAL BAD. I really hope that I can get the discipline to study and revise all I've learnt every now and then, so that it will be easier to study when the exams are drawing near.

-NIL-
This blog post has no title, because there's no suitable title I can think about. LOL.
Anyway, I went to the newly opened shopping mall, Nex, today. Although it's really huge and lots of shops to shop at, I did not really enjoy the place, as it's really too crowded, and the shopping mall is not organised at all. Well maybe those who don't mind huge crowds may find the place okay, but I feel that a place that is too crowded makes me lose all my mood for shopping. Not only that, the shopping mall is very disorganised, with all kinds of shops everywhere. Unlike most shopping malls, there isn't a a specific level where there are many shops that sell all different kinds of food. The shops that sell clothes are so many, that we ended up having to walk a lot, just to get to a place where we can settle our lunch. However, on the other hand, there are all sorts of things you can buy from there, and the prices are fairly reasonable.
Apart from my experience in Nex, I would like to write about my feelings about my trip to Bintan tomorrow. Well, I'm very excited about my trip tomorrow. Although Bintan is not a far away country, I'm very excited, as many of my family members are going. Hahas, this may seem like a very wierd reason to some, but I feel that it's the company that matters most. Sometimes, just going to a nearby country like Malaysia or Indoneisia can be really fun just because many people are going. A "boring" trip to a nearby country can become very fun, just because of our friends and family! :)

HOLIDAYS SO FAR...
Have not been doing much in the holidays these few weeks, except for lazing around and watching tv. I've got a strong feeling that sec 2's not gonna be easy, and I'd better buck up. But seriously, it's not that easy to just sit in front of so many assesment books, and study for hours. Guess I just don't have that kind of discipline in me. Hahas:)
Shopping-not really. i'm not really sure why I'm not shopping like i used to since there's so much time to spare, but somehow i just don't feel like going out. That's just really wierd. SO UNLIKE ME. Anyway, I think the only thing I enjoy about holidays is that I do not need to go to school and get really bored.
Movies-maybe... hahas, although I have only watched 2 this holiday, there are many other movies that I want to watch!! I'll probably watch them with my family and friends!! WOOHOO!
Okay, seems like there's nothing much to write about already, so... BYE!:)

Christmas!!
Seems like Christmas is finally coming, and everyone is busy preparing for the occassion. Phew! It's really a lot of hard work!! But anyway, it's really worth the effort. I've watched a video recently on the chrismas spirit, named 'Santa Paws', which is filmed mostly in New York. It showed how the people there got ready for Christmas, and how nicely decorated the streets were. You could see people dressed up as Santa Clause, wishing the people who walked past a merry christmas, and bells, and christmas trees all around the street! Sometimes i just wish that Singapore would look just like that during the Christmas period, but it seems it's quite impossible, as one thing for sure, is that it would not snow, and it may look really wierd to have such decorations along the street. Well, everyone's views about Christmas may differ in one way or another, but to me, i feel that Christmas is not really all about gift exchanges and sharing. I think it's really more about caring for one another, celebrating the birth of Christ, and spreading joy to the people around us. Maybe gift exchanges are neccessary to hype up the celebration, but i feel that if it's really a need for that, we should keep our gifts small, just in case we overlook the true meaning of Christmas. So looking forward to Christmas!

STUDY, STUDY, STUDY!!
Well, i feel SO RELIEVED that the year is FINALLY coming to an end. Although this year did not go as well as i planned it to be, i must say it was really quite alright. Now, the only thing i'm worried about is the high stress level coming from the various common tests. It's like, because school closes on the 28 october, the school is cramming ALL the review tests, such that we can finish them before the 28th. But because of this, there are tests like TWICE a week, and they are MAJOR tests, that take up a big percentage of you PPR (pupil's progression records). So it's like, before we can even take a break, or have at least a goodnight's rest after burning the midnight oil for numerous nights preparing for tests, it is time to start studying for the nxt one. ARGH, this is SO frustrating!! Hope i can get through this without suffering a burnout...

Holiday Experiences
I've really enjoyed the one-week September Holidays. haha, i was supposed to study and catch up with school work, but i guess that did not happen. haha. lols. anyway, i had great fun these few days....(PLAYED LIKE MAD)!!!!! woots! HAHHA. On the first day of the holidays, i did not really play much, since my grandfather was overseas, and there was no transport. So, i disciplined myself, and started to study for common tests. On Tuesday, my i went for dance trainings, and it lasted for the whole day, so i guess i wasted another day of my holiday. Wednesday was when all the fun and excitement started. In the morning, i stayed at home with my brother and we were lazing around-watching tv, playing chess, QUARELLING...^^ then i met up with my cousins and grandparents for dinner and they shared with me what they did when they went to Thailand for a holiday. After which, my grandfather brought me to shop around for a birthday present in Thomson Plaza.(we did not buy anything, since there was not much to choose from anyway) haha. guess we would have to go to some other places.... On Thursday, the fun started in the morning. After a good breakfast, we headed straight for the farm mart. There, we fed many animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, and goats) haha. then, we went to Qian Hu Fish Farm. We went there and started to catch guppies, or what they called "long gao fish". Wow, it was really much harder than we thought!! we fished for 30 minutes, but i only caught 8. haha, SO PATHETIC. i had dance training at 1, but because we forgot about time, i ended up buying my lunch from macdonalds, and gobbling it down during the small break times here and there. On Friday, we woke up early(830am) and bought some sandwiches, then headed straight for the zoo. well, the zoo experience was very fun, except for the fact that it started to rain cats and dogs 30 mins after we reached the zoo.(SO UNLUCKY!!!) i was really impressed by what the seals, dolphins, chimpanzes and dogs could do. After watching all the shows put up by the various animals, we went to see the flamingoes and many others. LOL. Later in the evening, my cousins came for dinner, and we had lots of fun!!!! haha:) we proceeded to have Rochor Road beancurd. (YUMMY!) and this was how i spent my holiday, not too lavish, but very fun.
